I'm starting the second in my series of Miss Marple stories read by Joan Hickson. I found a cache of five unabridged audio books that I had stashed away and forgotten. What a treat to have found them

I really don't know why most of the people I have talked to say that this book is one of her weakest... it's really well-written and has a great plot. It would be a good choice to give this one a chance.

I like the Marple mysteries to be more domestic and less exotic in their local.

I read the entire Agatha Christie collection as a teenager. I remember them as being very entertaining, and badly translated into Portuguese. And no, I did not have anything better to do at the time (or so I thought). Anyway, I loved the suspense, the middle-upper class settings , and a lot of the characters - not necessarily the detectives.
