I know I will get flack from saying that I did not like this book, but that is the fact of it. I have a very simple reason; it hit far too close to reality than I could possibly have enjoyed. Scary stories with vampires and Frankenstein monsters I can breeze through with ease and head held high. When it comes to stuff that I SHOULD be afraid of, well, that's another story. I couldn't even follow the storyline very well because the entire time I was reading it, I kept waiting for a knock on the door and a possessed man to jump through the roof. Well... no, that's not exactly true. I was at the points that it became less real that I could actually hold onto the plot, but still not enjoy it. Like when one demon sticks another when he wants to warn Baal. I don't think the kingdom of Satan is that divided, because that's what I understand from Scriptures. So to cut it to the quick, I don't like reading about fake stories of real fears. It just isn't my cup of tea.

Brings alive the scripture (Eph 6:12) that tells us "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." It is only through our prayers that we can battle in this realm, which is very real, indeed.

Wonderful book that affirms the power of prayer. After reading this book my prayers as a prayer warrior took on a whole new light. The book is based on fiction; however, it's based on biblical principles. It is about the unseen spiritual battles that are taking place over us and around us by the powers of the angels and demons. Very powerful.

Very good book!! It really helped put into perspective how powerful God really is. It also helped me rethink the way I look at spiritual warfare. Definitely recommend this one!!
