Classic Peretti series I read as a kid, very fun set of stories... It's like Indiana Jones with his son and daughter and they're all born again :)

Lila Cooper has a falling-out with her dad while in Japan, and insists on going home early. The flight she catches is on a military plane, transporting a new, high-tech weapon. A hijacking gone awry sends the plane crashing into the ocean, and Lila is suddenly trapped at the bottom of the sea. Her dad and brother begin island-hopping in a frantic race to find the pod before the Russians do, and before Lila's oxygen runs out.

My least favorite of the Cooper Kids Adventure Series (purely personal), it nonetheless has an interesting story to tell. The main issue i have is, like the other books in the series, it is totally unconnected with the others. It is a particularly serious matter in this book, since the story revolves quite a bit around Dr. Cooper's reticence to talk about his late wife, and an attraction to the pretty red-haired widow Meaghan. Neither Katherine nor Meaghan is mentioned again, or Dr. Cooper's change in attitude towards the topic of his wife's death. Aside from that, "Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea" is another good addition to the Cooper Kids Adventure Series.

I liked this one. It was a little weird when I first read it, but it was good.
