As other books on by shelf, this is not a page turner either, however, it was a very interesting read. I enjoyed reading about adapting to the south pole as well as emotionally adapting to a cancer diagnoses.

Awesome account of the doctor who diagnosed and treated her own breast cancer while trapped at the South Pole. Even better, it is told as a first person account. She seems like someone you could hang out with.
