Read it, watched the movie with Laurence Olivier and Angela Lansbury (she was 19!!)...again, really stuck in my imagination. Definitely worth a read.

Fantastically & classically great!The ending is so appropriate.My fav movie version is the black & white version that came out in the 40's or 50's...can't remember the actors name but perfectly cast & excellent in black & white! What an awesome tale of greed,selfishness & redemption.

My favourite book ever. Everyone should read it. It has everything, murder, scandal, love, lust, hate, beauty, corruption, greed, morality, supernatural, drugs, sex, homosexuality and some of the finest lines delivered such as "Each of us has Heaven and Hell in him" and "The books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world its own shame". How true!
