Nice reading. I love the characteristic of Ivanhoe. He's a true hero (and so handsome). I love the actress, too.

I enjoyed this story so much I couldn't sit still while reading it. Lots of peril and heroism. The story also covers the struggles of Jewish people in England.

Though the plot is sometimes confusing and the descriptions occasionally drag, I found this book much more interesting than I had expected.

Fantastic book! It took me awhile to get used to the archaic language, but once I got "in the zone", it was very enjoyable to the end.

"Ivanhoe" is a classic worth reading. If you're interested in anything like King Arthur , you should read this. There is a lot of adventure.

loved the chivalry and adventure and the characters. Also loved the light it shed on 1800s attitudes to jewish people. It was a good read. Was a little disappointed in the ending. It tied together the loose ends far too quickly which was unneccessary I felt.
