The Kite Runner was quite honestly a bit of a history lesson. Being half Middle Eastern I feel a bit embarrassed that I didn't know how much these people have suffered. This novel is beautifully written -- seamlessly really with wonderful, rich, unforgettable characters. I hope he keeps writing!!
