this is my favourite book of all time. yes i know it is a little dated, but i cant remember how many times i have read this. i love it. used to own a copy, dont know where it went. cant seem to get in the library either. so sad. this is a classic. i have read this several times and never get tired of it. this is one of my favourite books. cant recall how many times i have read this. i never get bored reading it. my favourite book of all time. romantic, exciting,informative. love it.

I love this book. Nevil Shute's books are dated in style, but his interest in women's experience of war and in forgotten parts of WW2 is fantastic. This book is so incredibly moving, despite it's incredibly old fashionedness!
