Abnett does a good job of creating interesting characters. This is a good book if you are interested in the Inquisition of the Warhammer 40K universe, or if you enjoy space fantasy, particularly tales of psychic abilities.

A brilliant book with seamless transitions from first to third person that do not ruin the story in any way shape or form. Just as exciting as the Eisenhorn series, looking forward to finishing the entire series to see what happens

More fun with Inquisitors from Abnett. The Ravenor series is clearly a follow-on from the Eisenhorn books, though lacks their scope. However, it makes up for it by widening the focus to allow the Inquisitor's retinue a little more of the limelight. Full of quirky detail, well plotted, and always fun and fast to read.

Surprisingly good. Solid story and superbly written combat sequences, it expands the 40k world really well. A great Black Library publication.

An excellent book with thought provoking and well fleshed out characters. Dan Abnett again delivers an action packed but somewhat philosophical tale based on a man who has lost everything but his mind.

An excellent return of some of our favorite characters from the eisenhorn trilogy. Well written and in parts very funny.

Some of the best Warhammer 40k writing I've read to date, good characters, developed in some depth with interesting and not 'too' dark environments for them to be in.

Typical Abnett Stuff. Well written, fantastic spread of central characters. If you have enjoyed any of his previous work, then you'll love this.
