I debated giving this one star. Typos galore. Narrative that was hard to follow. I imagine if you are up to date on the Warhammer 40K universe, you would like it more. As it is, I just knew the very basics of the Grey Knights. This did not serve to be a gentle introduction. It starts to come together in the final act, but it feels a little too little too late.

Quite enjoyable, worth a read if you like the 40k background. Although the plot is a bit predictable and the action scences could do with a bit more drama.

Classic arc of a small band of soldiers overcoming impossible odds in the pursuit of dragon slaying (in this case, greater daemon), set within the futuristic Warhammer universe. Story is rather well told, the intimate brotherhood and selflessness of the individuals has you getting behind them on an epic quest across planets. Really solid read from the 40k universe and probably better than the Dark Adeptus Grey Knights book.
