Abnett is the master of Astartes fiction!!!Yet again, following Horus Rising and Legion, Abnett shows us why he is the BEST sci-fi writer of our time. Brothers Of The Snake is an amazing novel of mini-stories all linked together into one tale about the Iron Snakes Chapter. It's like "300" in Astartes time... If you ever only read ONE space marine novel, then make it this one!!

One of the best 40K novels ever. Its nice to see a good Space Marine novel set after the Heresy. Also good to see Abnett tackle somthing non-Chaos (Orks and Dark Eldar). Seems to be inspired by the film 300.

A rather different take once again on the space marines and their various chapters. It feels a bit dry at first, and tends to jump from location to location with each chapter, and honestly, I felt it was a bit short, but otherwise a good read. The end sort of snuck up on me due to how short it felt, but otherwise, it wraps itself up rather neatly.
