Amezing! I love when it's hard for me to understand that the world of a book it's only in a book and not into reality!

One of the best books of all tims! It is theperfectbalance f romance and drama. It shows the power of love and how the path of true love never runs easy espcially when it comes to racial conflicts. It depcits a world so different from our own yet so similar and has an ending that will crush your hearts to bits and keep you crying for days!

this book is beautiful. I read it when i was younger and fell in love with the characters. Its passionate and challenging

the follow-ups to this book never quite compare to naughts and crosses although still extremely exciting.

This was the book that made me fall in love with reading i owe naughts and crosses so much as i can escape into fantasy when everything gets too much.

Not sure who the target audience is and that means Ms Blackman has accomplished mass appeal. A polarized concept which has not been done in this format (think braver than the ideology behind 'Planet of the Apes, or as pensive as Animal Farm).

Thought provoking and full of cliff-hangers that leave you debating for days.

Not my usual cup of tea but I loved it so much I have bought the whole series.

In the novel 'Noughts and Crosses' the world has been divided into two, the dark-skinned crosses (the rulers and the privileged race) and the light-skinned noughts (the second class citizens). The story revolves around our two main characters (Sephy and Callum). Sephy is a cross and Callum is a nought and although they can overcome their differences of race and class, the society they live in can not. As the two grow up they learn the harsh realities of the world and that they simply can't be together.

I suppose I liked this book ok, but a lot of the teen angst really bothered me. I know that if I'm going to be annoyed by teen angst I should probably just stay out of the young adult section of the library, but I usually don't find it as irritating in books as I do in real life. In this book, though, the teens seemed absurdly stupid. For example, there was a time a maid from the household of the girlteen he loved delivered a letter to the boyteen and he assumed that the letter was from the maid and just decided not to open it.I do love dystopian futures, though.

a tradgic love story where a wealthy black girl falls in love with a poor white boy. The world and their families are against them. reference to the civil rights movement and racism are the main theme woven with this love story. It will make you think and make you cry.

I thought this book was very predictable and horribly written. It is primarily a love story and is suitable for 8th-grade and up, although younger, more mature students would do fine with it. There were a lot cliches. I don't think I'll finish the series, although my students love it.

This is a really gripping book about the friendship formed between Callum and Sephy, even though Callum in a nought and Sephy is a cross. Crosses are higher citizens than noughts, and they don't mix together, which leads to lots of inequality. This puts a strain on Callum and Sephy's friendship as they find it hard to stay together, due to getting a hard time from other people.

I love this series which for me represents a modern take on Romeo and Juliet strewn along the subjects of social status and the racial divide. A swap of blacks ruling over white provides an interesting and thought-provoking viewpoint as well.

I love all three books but for me 'Noughts and Crosses' stands out a bit more but perhaps I'm biased because this is the book I remember most.

For anybody who's gotten into reading the series relatively recently and noticed that the Noughts and Crosses trilogy is in fact a series now, thanks to the latest installment 'Double Cross'. I like this book but I'm not as impressed by it as the other books because I feel it strays from the style and subjects of the other books but nevertheless it's still a goods one to read but I would recommend staying with the trilogy and perhaps the special World Book Day release, 'Eye For An Eye' which links the events of 'Noughts and Crosses' and 'Knife Edge'
