I would probably like the book more if Dan wasn't such an idiot in the beginning. However, the words of Socrates can help to redirect each of our lives. A couple tokens I took from the read were: "Happiness = Satisfaction/Desires You are rich if you have enough money to satisfy all your desires. So there are two ways to be rich: You earn, you inherit, borrow, beg, or steal enough money to meet all your desires; or, you cultivate a simple lifestyle of few desires; that way you always have enough money." "You've always tried to become superior in an ordinary realm. Now you're going to become ordinary in a superior realm." This book can only truly be enjoyed if you take the time to reflect while reading to see how the principles apply to your life. I can't say that my life has been changed, but I have gained a few new insights.

The most amazing Book i have ever read im my life, i loved it, it is the only book i have ever read twice. Thrid time might have to come soon. Funny, enjoyable book to read.

Possibly the only book i've read that truly touched me. The simple format of the lessons presented in this modern parable speak to everyone who reads it on a myriad of different levels. In short, it is the best book I have ever read.

Good sequel to The Peaceful Warrior. The seven levels and the three selves are good elements to consider when thinking of the "self". Look forward to the next book in the series.

Well. Honestly? I like what the author tried to do, but I am feel like the subtitle should have been "footnotes to sophmore philosphy".
