Milan Kundera examines some of the main topics about 'of being' through enriching characters. Ah!, how easy is to feel identify with all of them. Lovely and cerebral storytelling that is setting, as well, in the Czech Republic occupied by Russia.

To me, the description of what the unbearable lightness of being (somewhere on the first third of the book) is worth the whole thing.
