Christopher Priest est en passe de devenir un des auteurs stars de ma bibliothèque, dont j'achète frénétiquement toutes les publications... "Le monde inverti" est son roman le plus connu, et je l'ai beaucoup aimé, même si pour l'instant mon favori de lui reste "La fontaine pétrifiante"...

Best Sci-Fi book i've read so far. Its brilliance lies in how simple Priest makes this highly complex concept feel. And, of course, Priest's style is amazing...

In my Top 10, Christopher Priest is just a genius ! Characters are well depicted, interesting, and the end is enormous !

A good read with a interesting premise, although I found the ending a little disapointing and seemed to side step the premise.

A fantastically weird book. A great joy. The ending is a little too much of a "push button" fix but I can get over it.

This was written in 1974 and I am so glad that NYRB has brought this back into print. SciFi is not my usual genre to read but this book was outstanding and the inverted ending was terrific. I highly recommend it.
