Un hermoso libro que cuenta lo puro y simple que puede ser el amor fraternal, cuantos sacrificios no hacemos por nuestros seres mas queridos solo por verlos felices. Es una historia donde lo que prevalece es el amor en muchas facetas, tambien puedes conocer un poco mas sobre la cultura de la india y sus tradiciones. Recomendado para aquellas que les encanta las novelas romanticas con finales casi perfectos, un poco mas acercados a la realidad.

So this is what I have to say: I really loved the book; to the extent that I couldn't help from sneak-reading it at work; but I didn't love the ending.

CBD takes filial love through the acid test and helps us come to terms with her charachters and their losses. The women are ofcourse the forbearers of the tragedy wrought by the men and the men are present in absentia although they are not to be pitied. Read it to understand how the old makes way for the new and how change can sweep away the cobwebs that tragedy invariably leaves behind.
