i read the Indonesian version though, but i trusted the translator.. he had translated Norwegian Wood to Indonesian and with success :)

I read this book for the first time about 20 years ago. I've just read it again lately. I enjoyed it so much again. The language is beautiful and almost "perfect."

Haruki Murakami's first novel. It was nowhere near as good as his later novels, which I love, but it was cute in its own way and had a number of moments and lines that made me, literally, laugh out loud.
