A good book but I sometimes I find it too verbose. Though there are dragons around, this book is more about the humans and how they deal with a "something" (not given because of spoiler) that has a great potential to solve the problem they have for decades, the thread. It almost seems that the story of Jaxom and Ruth is outstaged by this even though their story is what they emphasize in the description. Still good read.
