I love a great "good vs. evil" type of book. This book just seem to lack some cohesiveness. I like the author and have read several of his books. This seemed to be a filler while he was writing some of his others. Not great, but a good "paperback in the airport" read. He just didn't finish it very strong. I left it in my Hotel room to pass it on. Didn't need to add it to my bookshelf.

It was a good book! I did not really read it as fast as I've read a couple of Ted Dekker's other books but it was pretty good.

This was an awesome book! This is a brilliant depiction of the battle between good and evil, how we struggle within ourselves to do the righteous things in life. How hard that can be. How our own minds and outside influences can trick us into believeing we do bad things in the name of the greater good.

Unless you know going in that this ties directly into Showdown, it takes about half the book to figure out that David Abraham isn't just making a random appearance. The jacket says true--"Saint: He's not who you think he is..." Quite an amazing book. I see a definite Bourne Identity influence, but that's not a bad thing. Read Showdown first, though...
