Fascinating and compelling story. Often more histobiographical than literary, however, and I found the ending anti-climatic. Deals with themes of love and family in the midst of revolution, but not in a particularly original way.

This book is so good! Even though it's a fictionalized account of 4 very real women, it is truly amazing.
