A solid entry in the Inheritance Cycles. The ending was awesome and powerful. It will help lead into a very awesome fourth and final one.

The imagery was uneven and while the story could have been wrapped up it could be seen how there was a need for a fourth book.

Incredible once again. With intricately woven plot lines and characters that truely grow on you, Brisingr is an excellent chapter to the Iheritance Cycle. The author has managed to pull me in and take me for a wonerfully emotional ride. I am left in much anticipation for the fourth and final book :)

This was a well written adventure continuing the story this talented writer started three books ago, amazingly at the age of 15. The 'trilogy' has grown to four books but all the better as far as I am concerned. I will be ready whenever #4 is. Highly recommend this great escape.

Paolini's attention to detail is really entertaining.The story of the boy and the dragon is interesting even to adults like us.It may not match the Hype of Harry potter, but it is certainly captivating. The details about the elves at ellesmera is purely fictional but very intriguing. It reminds me of a few Buddhist teachings .Anyway nothing beats the first book Eragon.

Not as good as the first two - I had a hard time getting through this one. It was interesting enough to want to finish and read the fourth book though.

I can't believe it's not over yet! Great storyteller and action-packed. It has always bothered me slightly how much he borrows from other sci-fi series, but that is a common trend across the genre. Waiting for book 4!

I can't wait until the next one comes out. Wish I didn't read these so fast! Can't compare them to the Lord of the Rings or Chronicles of Narnia as far as literary excellence, but would give the series 5 stars for pure enjoyment factor.

This is by far my favorite in the series. Book 4 will hopefully tie everything together, and sadly bring this series to a close.

Paolini definitly had developed his writing style by this third installment. It was a good read, with lots of magic, dragons, fighting, and the occasional bit of sexual tension. However, I was thinking it was going to be the final installment of the series, and was quite distracted when the storyline wasn't moving fast enough for that to happen. Can't wait till the final Inheritance title!
