Well. I do not even know how to put into words how I feel about this book. Its left with such mixed emotions. I decided after I read the first one that I would not leave detailed reviews of the books as (I feel)that would spoil them for others and I REALLY dislike that when it happens to me. But with this one, I was struck by so many things I wanted to share so much of it. And have realized that I cannot. It would just ruin it. But I can say one thing; I was struck over and over at how intolerance breeds hate. And I wonder...I mean REALLY WONDER how many people are TRULY aware of this??!! I was tempted to leave a quote from the end of the book that I found to be so prevalent, but even that would ruin the story and given things away. If you choose to only read one "Sookie" book, this should be the one!!

Book #7, yay! I still have couple more chapters to go and I'm loving it! Can't wait to find out how this will end. I just love Sookie Stackhouse novels! I love these books!

I'm starting to feel bad for Sookie. The further she ventures into the supernatural world the more burdens she has to carry. I find her romantic interest Quinn less interesting than her former suitors. Still a good book with a strong story and lots of unique characters.

i really liked this one.. it is probably my favorite amongst the previous books..its exciting, thrilling and funny! i loved the author' way to describe the details..it just makes my imagination go wild! i sure will continue on reading!

Good book. I love Quinn. I also like what happened with Eric in this book, however I found the ending to be rushed and left way too much open and not dealt with. I would have enjoyed a "tidier" ending.

Even if Quinn is still her main squeeze here (and I don't want him for Sookie, I want Eric :) ), I liked the book because it was funny at times and exciting. I hope next time I read more of Eric, less of Quinn ;).

Still not a great mystery series, but I've pretty much accepted that it's never going to be really great. This was definitely one of my favorites in the series--mostly because there was a lot of stuff involving Eric and very few scenes with Bill. It was a little slow because, like Dead Until Dark, thus one focused on vampire supes and there are a lot of conflicts that the author has left unresolved with other supes in books before this one. Maybe there'll be more were/witch/fairy action in the next one? I'll definitely read on.
