weRead is a community of book lovers that helps discover books, people and authors they like. weRead Users can

1. List, rate and write reviews about the books you are reading or have read in the past.
2. Browse what others/Friends are reading and what they are saying about books you're interested in.
3. Find people/Friends with similar reading interests as you and learn which books they recommend.
4. Get book recommendations.
5. Have fun with books! And who wouldn't want that?

In order to make this community vibrant, we make our very best effort to provide the most accurate book information available, and we're constantly making improvements. Please bear with us, and report any book catalog errors so we can fix them right away. A lot of the information like reviews and ratings is added by our users. Hence there may be some user added information that mis-represents the truth. We make our best effort to periodically clean such information but we cannot guarantee 100% accurate information for reasons that you can think of.

User Account: If you (the user) open a user account on the site, then you are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access any secure areas of ugenie.com. Content: weRead provides a number of different services to assist you in social discovery of books. weRead provides information regarding books such as titles, images, authors, descriptions, editorial reviews, user reviews. Ugenie gets this information through its partners. While ugenie.com strives to keep the information on this site accurate, complete, and up-to-date, ugenie.com and its partners cannot guarantee, and will not be responsible for any damage or loss related to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information.

Ugenie.com does not sell, resell or license any products listed on ugenie.com, nor is ugenie.com acting as an agent of sale. Ugenie.com disclaims any responsibility for, or liability related to, such products. Any questions, complaints or claims should be directed to the appropriate merchant or seller.

Content Posted on the Site: You understand and agree that Ugenie may review and delete any content, reviews, ratings, photos or profiles information (collectively, "Content") that in the sole judgment of Ugenie violate this Agreement or which might be offensive, inappropriate, illegal, or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of other Members.

You are solely responsible for the Content that you publish or display (hereinafter, "post") on the Service, or transmit to other Members. By posting Content to any public area of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Ugenie an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.

• is obscene, pornographic, excessively violent or harmful to minors or depicts minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct or in a sexually explicit manner;
• is tortuous, defamatory, libelous or invasive of another's privacy or publicity rights;
• infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary or intellectual property rights of any party;
• you do not have a right to make available under law or contractual or fiduciary relationships; includes copyrighted materials for which you do not possess appropriate rights to so display, perform or otherwise make available;
• bears any false, disguised or misleading origin;
• contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to destroy, interrupt or otherwise limit the functionality of any computer software, computer hardware or other equipment.

You must use the Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.

You may not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other Members to buy or sell any products or services through the Service. You may not transmit any chain letters or junk email to other Members. Although Ugenie cannot monitor the conduct of its Members off the Site, it is also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from the Service in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, or sell to any Member without their prior explicit consent. In order to protect our Members from such advertising or solicitation, Ugenie reserves the right to restrict the number of interaction by email, notification, wall posts or any other means between two members. Ugenie also reserves the right to cancel a weRead membership at any time.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Ugenie Members. Ugenie reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.

Eligibility: You must be 13 (thirteen) or older to register as a Member of weRead. Membership in the Service is void where prohibited. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the Terms & Conditions of this Agreement. Children under 13 are not permitted to use this website.

Term: Joining weRead is free and you may continue to use this Service as long as you adhere to these Terms & Conditions.

Personal and Non-Commercial Use Limitation: You may access, download and print materials on this website for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from this website. Assignment: You agree that this Agreement and all agreements and information incorporated herein may be automatically assigned by ugenie.com, in its sole discretion, to a third party. You may not assign your obligations to another entity.

General: This Agreement does not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, and employment or franchise relationship. Because you are not an employee, minimum wage laws do not apply to your relationship with ugenie.com. Our failure to act in a particular circumstance does not waive our right to act with respect to that or other circumstances. We shall be excused for any problem due to factors beyond our control. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect, and the provision affected will be construed so as to be enforceable to the maximum extent permissible by law. Any waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be effective only if in writing and signed by ugenie.com.
